Overview

The Town of Ballston Clean Energies Committee (TOBCEC) seeks to raise public awareness of clean renewable energy practices in an effort to reduce our use of fossil fuels as a community. The path includes attaining certification as a Clean Energy Community, thereby identifying ways that our government buildings can reduce their use of fossil fuels while saving money and having a positive footprint on the environment. TOBCEC will also provide guidance to the Town Board and community for economically feasible and sustainable clean energy practices, thereby helping to foster a town climate with a proactive approach to clean energy practices. This statement and this committee's mission will evolve as time and technology move forward.

The Town Needs Your Help!

Any Town resident who has purchased a new plug-in hybrid or fully electric car on or after November 4, 2021 can help our Town qualify for green certification points. These points help the Town in several ways, including earning grant opportunities.
